Very upbeat and well paced. Very engaging. You want to see more of after it is over. The character development is outstanding, particularly for a documentary. The kids are fun and really invite you into their lives. We follow Joy and her friends from their first audition and later watch them on tour with Circus Smirkus. We learn how difficult circus life is and watch each of these kids flourish and become part of a whole and ultimately, wholly themselves. A great family movie with really positive messages!
