Educator-vetted: All media on Ziggi will be eductor-vetted as age-appropriate for our target audience, which is 10 to 14 year old girls and boys. Much of our content will also work for younger kids and adults of all ages!
Hard to Find: Drawn from film festivals and games conferences worldwide, many of the films and games on Ziggi are unavailable anywhere else in the United States.
Mind-Expanding: All our games and movies will be positive, thought-provoking and mind-expanding. By sharing stories from around the world and from diverse points of view, we believe that kids can learn from each other and about themselves.
Always Changing: We will update our content on a monthly basis so new games and movies will always be available to our subcribers.
In a Safe Environment: Unlike many other media sites, all the content on Ziggi will be family-friendly and appropriate for 10 to 14 year old kids.

Ziggi Founder Signe Taylor
My name is Signe Taylor. I am a documentary filmmaker and I have directed films for public and commercial television, including award-winning documentaries like Circus Dreams. I have also worked as a media educator, teaching middle school and high school students about how to make as well as analyze media content.
As a teacher and parent, I have long been frustrated by the media aimed at 10 to 14 years olds in the United States. Many TV shows, movies and games made for this age group tend to perpetuate gender roles, confirm stereotypes, glorify consumerism and lack diversity. Think about the amazing range of characters, settings, issues and stories that you can find in books for kids. Why can't we have that range and that quality in films and games too?
The answer is, we can! There are hundreds of high-quality movies, shows and games aimed at 10 to 14 years olds being made around the world every year. This media does not reach families in the United States because it will not sell lots of show-based products, like t-shirts and lunchboxes, so the commercial distributors do not want it. BUT I think families still want this content! My mission is to build Ziggi into a bridge that brings high-quality, positive and engaging media to families in the United States. I believe that through Ziggi, we can help transform the media options available to kids in the USA!
